Seamen Welfare FUND SOURCE
An amount of Rs.2,91,825/- was received as Pakistan’s share from the Indian Merchant Seamen’s (war service) Fund and Rs.100,000/- from Merchant Seamen’s amenities fund. The total amount was Rs.3,91,825/- out of which, the Merchant Seamen’s Amenities Fund Committee invested Rs.300,000/- in the shape of securities, bearing interest at 3%. The balance upto July 1963 stood in the Bank is as under:-

In April, 1977, the MSW Fund rose to Rs.6,82,861 only through the sources of interest on investments. Four other negligible-sources also supported the fund.
